Jadi Peperzak, winner of the Best Talent Award 2024 for the best jazz student in the Netherlands, brings his exceptional guitar talent to LantarenVenster. His graduation concert with his quartet received a standing ovation, and now it is time for a wider audience to discover his exciting compositions and rhythmic surprises.
Together with his regular band, he presents his debut album Amity, which was made possible in part thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign. The album showcases how Jadi combines different musical colours and styles: from round, warm melodies to raw, adventurous passages full of rhythmic inventiveness.
